If women took half that advice that father gave his child we would have less issues in marriage.. game411@michelleadams_1 It would be sad to think men generally do not get taught these things. We get taught these things by different people. you make it look like all men punch their wives, or like all women are saints. My own two cents, when women in Nigeria become less dependent on men financially, there will be an increased level of respect from the men. Now I am not against men respecting women, but in a society where women present themselves as commodities to be bought, what do u expect? Lastly, what stops you from writing up a post advising men, since you believe we don't get enough advise? You can start with your own son. At the end of the day, it was just an advise. learn what you can from it. Cheers.

It happens every day, a woman will be told not to worry about working too hard because she is going to marry a rich man, they will be like "you no get problem you go see man marry you" because you cannot relate doesn't mean it doesn't happen, same way I can not even relate with your comment that said men are asked to chill while the woman work, aunty in my house we are 4 3 boys and one girl since we became old enough my sister doesn't do shit in the house again except help with complicated dishes like pepper soup, we sweep, clean, wash and cook but I know it happens. Most people around me sef the only thing their daughters do is cook every other house work is done by the sons. In my house we have one girl she is the first born and she doesn't do anything.
