It may be recalled that Wizkid was taunted as Drake did not show up for the video of “Come closer” even though he had sent his clip which was worked on, showing he featured in the song.
At the time, fans said the singer was absent during Drake’s video shoot for ‘One Dance’, and failed to make the final cut. And according to some section of fans, it was payback time for him not showing up.
Wizkid has responded. Replying a fan, he said: “Had a family emergency during ‘One Dance’ video shoot, and Drake was on tour when we did ‘Come Closer’. No bad blood, one love still” He tweeted even though he deleted the tweet moments later.
Well, thankfully, his dream has come true and Nigerians can let the incident come to rest.
