Amina who is now a University student in Jos called us on Tuesday morning saying "I Need Help"
and she dropped the call.
that got our attention and we called her back to hear her story.
then she began,
in her words: "my name is Amina from kwara state, please i need your help".
she continued, "i stayed with my father when i lost my mother in 2014 and since then my father
has been acting funny to me." we asked her to explain
then she continued " anytime i ask for money
for my books or money to settle my school needs he will tell me to kiss him first or he will touch my breast and ask me to seat on his legs."
"i tried to tell my friends but he said if anyone knows about us that will be the end of my schooling"
"because i was scared and don't want to stop schooling i decided not to tell." she added
she continued, " one day when i was 20 i got back from my lesson class and he gave me a fanta to drink". "i was very happy because i cant remember if he has done that before."
"but after few minute i started feeling weak and i slept off."
then she started crying. We tried to calm her down and she continued: "while i was sleeping i felt someone touching me
but i was so weak that i could not even move" she continued "then when i woke up i started having pains all over me and blood from my private part",
"then i got up to find him and i saw him watching TV and sweating at the seating room"
"i told him what happened but he lied he knew nothing about it but in my mind i knew what he has done. i cried out to my late mother but he has done the damages already."
then she said last year her father's friend came to the house, saw her and said he like to marry.
in her words "i was so happy and because i want to leave the wicked man and his house, i accepted"
"but i was surprised when my father easily accepted." she added.
Amina told us she got married to him but after a week of marriage she noticed she was two weeks pregnant with out the husband touching her yet.
then she ran out of her husband's house to stay with her friend and now Amina is stay alone with her baby.
the husband has called her several times to come home but he doesn't know why she left and also about the baby.
now she needs our help.
