The Dutch football manager and former player quits the game after 20years of his coaching career. News came in this morning that the former Manchester United coach as confirmed his retirement. He was the manager of Ajax, Barcelona, AZ Alkmar, Bayern Munich, Netherlands and Manchester United.
"I thought maybe I would stop, then I thought it would be a sabbatical, but now I do not think I will return to coaching," he told a Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
The 65years old coach made the announcement on Monday after receiving a lifetime achievement award from the Dutch government for his contribution to football.
