Lagos State Record First Death From The Covid19 Record Cases In LUTH

A 55-year-old man who was admitted to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, has died in the facility. 

hospital discovered that the patient had COVID-19 after he tested positive to the virus when a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test was done on his blood posthumously.

The man who went to LUTH in Lagos knowing he had symptoms of Covide19 never told told the doctors. All he disclosed was he had only fever/tiredness.


Later the doctors found out he had cough and just came back from Europe. As the family had decided to hid the information. 

The patient was confirmed dead today of Coronavirus in LUTH as the first death case in Lagos surfaces.

The man died few hours after he was admitted on Friday April 3rd, in LAGOS UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL (LUTH).

Many doctors and nurses exposed.

According to report, four doctors in LUTH have gone into isolation becausr they were exposed to a patient in the accident and emergency room whose family has lied about his symptoms and hid the fact that he just came back from Europe.

Twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 11 in Lagos, 3 in the FCT, 3 in Edo, 2 in Osun & 1 in Ondo

Two new deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo State

As at 10:30 pm 3rd April there are 210 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
