The 25-year-old rapper made history earlier this year with her song “Bodak Yellow.” It is now the longest running number one on the Billboard Hot 100 by a female solo rapper.
When asked about the song’s title on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Cardi said, “I named it ‘Bartier Cardi’ because I don’t want [jewelry company] Cartier to sue me.”
Cardi is getting ready to drop her debut solo album sometime next year and we can’t wait to find out what else she has in store for us!
