The Nigerian music star seems to not happy with the manner his colleagues goes around sharing money, doing giveaway online, but none seem to go offline.
Base on experience, he knew what it felt to be poor and still had to stay at home without any source of income.
Patoranking has come out to slam many celebrities really hard who have become famous for giving out money online, ignoring those who can’t afford to come online.
Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, many celebrities have now planted the habit of doing giveaways online almost every day, but has never thought of going to support those on the street who can’t afford to use the internet. On Tuesday, March 31st, the music star took to his Twitter, where he slammed them for not helping those without access to the Internet.
"Instead Make we artist come together and contribute money to support people, Those once wey no Dey online Oo, Wey understand wetin giveaway mean ( people for slums and ghetto) wey Dey disadvantaged due to this Covid-19 Lockdown, una Dey here Dey talk about this Vs This, Wise up," he tweeted.
Many called him a ‘killjoy’ immediately after he started this campaign against online giveaway.
However, the music star wasn't moved as he reminded those who were aggrieved that he had experienced poverty before and knew what a total shutdown meant.
